5. Hellenistic Art
The final period of art in Greek times was the Hellenistic Era. This period was known as the overdramatized and exaggerative time of art. All human features, from faces to muscles to body expression, were overly exaggerated on sculptures.

Before the Hellenistic Era, Such as Archaic and Classical Eras, emotion was not particularly conveyed, as most faces were bland, and body shape was normal. Hellenistic sculpture is intended to represent the "model person" from the time period in their physical build.
Hellenistic art influences the modern world as it was the first use of emotion in art, and to try to evoke emotions and tell a story to the viewer. Before these times, they were mostly to mark events and present religious/mythological events. Now various periods of art are based upon evoking emotion.
